The Coated Diplomat® drum head is warmer than the Clear Diplomat®. It features a single coated layer of 7.5-mil Mylar® film. These heads are famous for their bright warm tones, resonance, and long sustain. They're great for enhancing snare drum response. PLU: BD011300.

To use the Coated Diplomat® drum head, first make sure your drum is clean. Then carefully place the head on the drum and tighten the hoops evenly. This will give you the best sound. When playing, use proper drumsticks to avoid damaging the head. For maintenance, keep the drum in a dry place away from direct sunlight. If the head gets dirty, you can gently wipe it with a soft, dry cloth. Don't use any harsh chemicals as they might damage the coating. And if you notice any signs of wear and tear, it might be time to replace the head.
