To use these Promark L-RODS Lightning Rods, simply hold them as you would your regular cymbal sticks. They'll instantly add more punch and a brighter tone to your cymbal hits. When using, make sure your hands are dry to maintain a good grip. For maintenance, keep them in a dry place away from extreme temperatures. If they get dirty, you can gently wipe them with a clean cloth. Avoid hitting them too hard against very hard surfaces to prevent damage.
