Product Detail

The Soundiron Solo Duduk is a remarkable musical instrument. Crafted from aged apricot wood, it's an ancient double - reed wind instrument. This wood is picked for its soft feel and warm resonance, enabling you to create mournful timbres that mimic a wailing voice. Indigenous to Armenia, the duduk is one of the oldest double - reed woodwinds, originally made from bone or cane. It's often played in pairs, with one player performing the melody and the other holding a steady drone. Its sound is similar to an English horn, but with a wide reed that gives it a robust, haunting tone. In recent years, it has become popular outside its traditional sphere, thanks to its use in film scores and modern music, like in the soundtracks of Gladiator, Avatar, and many others. The Solo Duduk was recorded in a large hall with three microphone positions. We sampled various articulations to help you create an authentic performance. With over 2,500 samples and 19 key - switchable articulations, it's perfect for any project needing a soulful sound. The Kontakt interface offers a suite of controls for creative flexibility, including an adaptable LFO system, 12 filters, a customizable arpeggiator, and a key and scale lock system. The modular FX rack panel has 27 DSP effect modules. This library is for Native Instruments Kontakt 6.2.2 or later, and while the free Kontakt Player has limited support, the sample directories are unlocked for other wav - compatible software.

Using the Soundiron Solo Duduk is a breeze. First, make sure you have the full retail version of Native Instruments Kontakt 6.2.2 or later installed. Load the library into Kontakt using the standard File browser tab and import it into the Quickload window. You can then start exploring the different articulations and samples. When playing, you can use the controls on the Kontakt interface to shape the sound. Adjust the swell, attack, release, and other parameters to get the desired effect. For a more dynamic sound, play around with the LFO system and the filters. Remember, when using the arpeggiator, you can control the direction, timing, and other settings to create interesting patterns. As for maintenance, keep your software up - to - date to ensure smooth performance. Also, since the sample directories are unlocked, make sure to back them up regularly in case of data loss. If you run into any issues while using the free Kontakt Player in demo mode, just know that it has limited functionality, and upgrading to the full version might solve the problem.
