Rattletines are a set of one - of - a - kind hand - crafted tuned percussion instruments designed by Bart Hopkin. Each instrument produces a special rattle or buzz sound, with every note having a warm resonance. It has two rows of tines: the upper tines hit 'anvils' when vibrating, while the lower row offers a clearer tone. Mahogany and Hacksaw Blades models have tongues with holes and metal wrappings that rattle when plucked, creating a unique buzzing sound. We've sampled tine plucks and hand slaps on the instrument bodies from two stereo mic positions. The library also includes a wide range of custom FX presets and ambient content for complete creative freedom. The Kontakt interface provides automation - ready sound - shaping controls. There are 20 unique sound - designed custom FX presets. It comes with an adaptable LFO system, 12 types of filters, a customizable arpeggiator, and a key and scale lock system. The modular FX rack panel has 18 DSP effect modules. The Reverb effect offers 99 different spaces and 40 custom FX impulses. It includes 5 master presets, 20 custom presets, 3 unique lamellophones with 2 mic positions, and various bonus effects. With 7,952 stereo samples in 24 - bit, 48 kHz Stereo Lossless NCW format, it takes up 3.23 GB when installed. It's compatible with the free Kontakt Player, Komplete Kontrol, and S - Series Keyboards.



Using Rattletines is a breeze. First, make sure you've installed the library in the Kontakt 'Libraries' browser through the Native Access app and registered the serial number online. You can start by selecting from the 5 master presets or 20 custom presets to get a quick feel of the instrument's sound. To create your own unique sounds, use the sound - shaping controls on the Kontakt interface. You can adjust swell, attack, release, and other parameters to fit your musical needs. For adding effects, use the modular FX rack panel. Just pick the DSP effect modules you want and place them in the available slots. The Reverb effect is great for adding depth to your sound, so try out different room, hall, and chamber settings. When it comes to playing the virtual instrument, you can use your Komplete Kontrol or S - Series Keyboard to trigger the samples. Remember, this library is designed for the free Kontakt Player (version 6 or later), so make sure your software meets the requirements.
