Product Detail

This Multi-Impulse Convolution Pack for Vienna MIR Pro 3D offers spatial models of the historic Pernegg monastery church. Located in a small village in Lower Austria near the Czech border, this church has a rich history dating back to the 12th century. The well - fortified 'Saint Andrew' church was built between 1500 and 1520. The organ by Michael Prackh, installed in 1654, is still in use. This late - gothic pilaster church has a unique open - form design, with a five - sided choir apse and nave free of pillars, creating extraordinary acoustics. Its secluded forest location means little surrounding noise, making it perfect for musical performances and recordings. Labels like Hyperion have recorded here, and famous musicians play concerts regularly. We captured the church's acoustics from four microphone positions in Vienna MIR Pro 3D. The nave has two balconies, and there are additional HotSpots in the cloisters. Nearly 5,000 Impulse Responses were gathered, with an average length of about 6 seconds and an average reverb time of about 3.8 seconds.

Using this product is easy. In Vienna MIR Pro 3D, you can select the acoustics of the Pernegg monastery church. You can choose from the four different microphone positions we've provided - near the altar center, in front of the altar, in the middle of the nave, or near the choir gallery at the back. Check the Venue Maps to get an idea of where to place your 'stage areas'. You can also take advantage of the two balconies and the additional HotSpots in the cloisters for placing instruments. As for maintenance, keep your software up - to - date to ensure the best performance. And always handle your audio equipment with care. Remember, this product recreates the unique acoustics of the Pernegg monastery church, so use it to add that special touch to your musical recordings and performances.
