Product Detail

The MF-103S 12-Stage Phaser is a fresh take on Moog Music's iconic MF-103 analog effects pedal. First introduced in 1999, the MF-103 packed two key modular functions: a 6/12-stage voltage-controlled Phaser and a voltage-controlled wide-range Low Frequency Oscillator (LFO). Designed by Bob Moog and his team, it stemmed from the original Moog modular synthesizers and could process various audio inputs like guitar, voice, and synthesizer sounds. The MF-103S recreates the MF-103 with great precision, capturing its psychedelic sound and the organic parameter interaction for an amazing musical experience. With CV interconnectivity, stereo functionality, an extended feature set, multi - instance running ability, and presets, it's a perfect fit for modern digital creators. The MF-103S also adds unique features not found on the hardware. The OUTPUT MODE recreates the MAIN and AUX outputs of the original and enables stereo routing. The LFO TYPE can switch between the original MONO LFO or create a second inverted LFO for stereo modulation. It also offers CV Inputs for LFO Rate, LFO Amount, Resonance, Phaser Sweep, and a second Sweep input for independent modulation of the two six - stage sections, with the option to soften these modulations.

Using the MF-103S 12-Stage Phaser is quite straightforward. First, connect your audio source, like a guitar or synthesizer, to the appropriate input. You can then start adjusting the various controls to shape your sound. Play around with the OUTPUT MODE to route your audio in different stereo configurations. The LFO TYPE switch gives you options for different modulation effects. For the CV inputs, you can connect external controllers to adjust parameters like LFO Rate and Resonance. When it comes to maintenance, keep it in a dry and clean environment. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or humidity. If you're not using it for a long time, store it safely. Also, be careful when handling the connections to prevent any damage to the ports.
