The RockGuy is an amazing software that realistically emulates two legendary guitar processors - the Rockman Sustainor and its Chorus/Delay unit. It brings the iconic guitar tones of 80s and 90s bands like Def Leppard, Boston, Kiss, and artists such as Joe Satriani. Expand your THU with new models and presets in this pack, including the RockGuy Sustain preamp and Chorus/Delay units, 26 patches for iconic guitar tones, and bonus patches for THU Premium users. It can be used as a THU expansion or a standalone plugin with all THU editing features. The RockGuy Sustain offers a unique tone with a dynamic processor, distortion unit, and cabinet simulator, along with 4 voicings and 3 modifier switches. The Chorus/Delay unit combines an analog modulator and a bucket - brigade delay for a distinctive sound, and you can use both effects in parallel. You'll also get basic THU effects like a parametric EQ, a rack compressor, and 5 pedals. Plus, it has easy MIDI total control for a fun gig experience.
Using the Overloud THU RockGuy v2 is straightforward. First, if you're using it as an expansion pack, install it into your existing THU setup. If you bought it as a standalone, you can start using all the editing features right away. To create your guitar tones, play around with the 4 voicings (CLEAN 2 for bright rhythmic tones, CLEAN with a tighter high - end, EDGE for a crunch sound, and DIST with more gain) and the 3 modifier switches on the RockGuy Sustain. For the Chorus/Delay unit, you can enable both effects at the same time for a unique sound and use the stereo widening switches to open up the tones. When setting up MIDI control, just click an element on the THU interface and press the corresponding pedal on your MIDI floorboard. As for maintenance, make sure to keep your software updated to the latest version to ensure the best performance and access to new features. Also, store your presets in a safe place so you don't lose them.
