Product Detail

Advancer is an extraordinary plugin that reverses the effect of delay. It leverages your DAW’s latency compensation to move sounds forward in time, relative to other tracks in your DAW, by up to 50ms. This 'anti - delay' feature serves a wide range of corrective and creative functions, such as compensating for delay and aligning distant microphones, correcting the timing of skewed left/right tracks, brightening audio through frequency - dependent time shifts, creating 'ghost notes' and flams on drums, generating doubling effects for added excitement and clarity, and crafting smooth 'Jet Plane' flanging effects with full control. Advancer takes pre - echo further with a linear phase crossover for different time shifts on high and low frequencies. When used on stereo tracks, it offers options to apply time shifts to the full signal, middle/center, sides, or individual left/right channels. It shifts audio in sample - based intervals without re - sampling, thus preserving sound quality.

Using Advancer is quite straightforward. First, open your DAW and load the plugin onto the track you want to work with. To correct timing, like aligning distant microphones or skewed left/right tracks, adjust the time shift up to 50ms to get the perfect alignment. For creative effects, such as creating 'ghost notes' on drums or doubling effects, play around with different time shift settings. You can also use the linear phase crossover to apply different time shifts to high and low frequencies. On stereo tracks, choose whether to apply the time shift to the full signal, middle/center, sides, or individual channels. When using the 'Jet Plane' flanging effect, use your DAW's automation to control the sweep speed and depth. As for maintenance, make sure your DAW and the plugin are up - to - date. Also, keep an eye on the sample - based intervals to ensure the audio quality remains high and there's no re - sampling that could degrade it.
