Product Detail

The THR Compactor offers two user - interfaces for different needs. The Simple UI is a breeze to use. You can work quickly without fretting about controlling multiple parameters. Just pick a preset, tweak the threshold, and you're good to go! On the other hand, the Advanced UI provides in - depth control over your music dynamics. It includes tempo - synced release, Lookahead, gain - reduction limit, and more. Besides typical compressor controls like Threshold, Ratio, Knee, Attack, and Release, it has unique features. There's Automatic Threshold, Automatic Attack & Release Times. The Automatic Knee sets the knee curve and ratio according to the threshold, great for vocal processing. You can also set a maximum gain - reduction limit in dB to prevent over - compression, especially useful with Auto Threshold. And a comprehensive histogram helps you monitor audio levels visually, showing input, compression, and post - compression levels.

Using the THR Compactor is easy. For quick results, use the Simple UI. Just select a preset that suits your audio type and adjust the threshold. That's all it takes to start getting good compression. If you want more control, switch to the Advanced UI. Here, you can play around with features like tempo - synced release and gain - reduction limit. Remember, when using the Automatic Threshold and Attack & Release Times, the compactor will do a lot of the work for you, but you can still fine - tune as needed. When working on vocals, try the Automatic Knee feature for great results. As for the gain - reduction limit, set it according to how much compression you want to avoid over - squashing your audio. Keep an eye on the histogram to see how your audio is being compressed. For maintenance, make sure to keep your software up - to - date. If you're using it on a computer, ensure your system meets the recommended requirements to avoid any glitches.
