Product Detail

Reason Drum Kits offer a collection of highly expressive and playable acoustic drum kits. Recorded in the legendary Atlantis Studios in Stockholm with a blend of vintage and top - notch recording equipment, these kits capture the true sound and soul. What makes them truly stand out is the vast array of creative choices available to you. All drum kits were recorded using a full mics array, and when creating your drum sound, you can access all these recordings. Prefer a tight and intimate sound? Choose the close mics. Crave a big and loud drum kit? Use the overhead and ambience mics! Each drum kit is meticulously crafted from thousands of samples, enabling expressive performances. With multiple samples per instrument, you can achieve natural rolls and fills, avoiding the robotic effect. Rim shots, ruffs, side stick and other drummer techniques are there for your creative exploration. Features include pattern - based drum programming, 8 - channel, 16 - step, 8 - pattern configuration, visual programming, per - step settings like velocity, repeat, probability, per - channel settings such as time resolution and play direction, quick editing tools, and shuffle control.

Using Reason Drum Kits is a breeze. First, start with pattern - based drum programming. You can choose from 8 channels, 16 steps, and 8 patterns to create your unique drum beats. For a more hands - on approach, use the visual programming feature. When setting up each step, you can adjust velocity, repeat, and probability according to your preference. For each channel, you can set the time resolution and play direction. If you're in a hurry, use the quick editing tools like random, copy, paste, preset, and fill. When it comes to creating the sound, if you want a tight and close sound, go for the close mics. For a grand and loud sound, use the overhead and ambience mics. As for maintenance, make sure to keep your software updated to access all the latest features and bug fixes. Also, since these are digital drum kits, store your samples in a safe and organized manner to avoid any data loss. Have fun exploring all the creative options these drum kits offer!
