Product Detail

A Hit from the Start! Get drums crafted by Hugh Padgham, the man who shaped the '80s sound. With Hugh's touch on tracks from Phil Collins, Genesis, The Police, and many others, his influence on music history is undeniable. He pioneered gated reverb snare drums and blended acoustic and electronic drums. In this SDX, Hugh created an all - in - one source of acoustic and electronic drums inspired by the '80s, '90s, and his most famous works. Six unique acoustic kits and a huge collection of classic vintage drum machines were captured at the British Grove Studios in London. All drums and machines were first recorded on tape for an organic feel before digital conversion. Amped through a PA system, they offer a stunning mix of sounds that you can easily blend, mix, and modify using Superior Drummer 3's tools. There are also plenty of Hugh's custom presets. If you want to produce hits right away, this SDX is perfect. Features include 6 acoustic drum kits, over 400 classic drum machine sounds, extra acoustic kicks, snares, and cymbals. Recorded by four - time Grammy winner Hugh Padgham, it's inspired by his top works, captured in London, and comes with ready - to - use presets and a bespoke MIDI library.

Using this SDX is easy. First, load it into Superior Drummer 3. You can start with Hugh Padgham's custom presets for an instant great sound. If you want to get creative, use the onboard design tools to blend, mix, and match the acoustic and electronic drum sounds. To make the most of the extra selections of acoustic kicks, snares, and cymbals, simply swap them into your mix. When using the MIDI library, just import the drum grooves and fills that fit your song. As for maintenance, keep your software up - to - date to ensure compatibility and the best performance. And remember, since the sounds were captured in a high - quality studio, you don't need to worry too much about audio issues, but always back up your project regularly in case of any technical glitches.
