Product Detail
Bassym - J offers high - quality samples of a four - string Musicman Stingray bass with roundwound strings. At the interface bottom, you have full control over the instrument's behavior. You can select the legato mode, define the legato distance, adjust the release volume, turn the cabinet simulation on or off, edit the parametric EQ's bass and treble, and set the sensitivity for all the dynamics you desire. This product comes with the UVI Workstation 3 sample player (v3.1.6 or later required) for free, so you don't need to buy an expensive sampler. Features include 1.42GB uncompressed, 757MB lossless - compressed flac samples (around 4800 in total), 11 velocity layers for sustain, 15 velocities for release, hammer on samples, an advanced vibrato effect via the modulation wheel, random string noises, harmonics, ghost notes, string hits samples, and advanced UVI scripting for a simple yet powerful interface and advanced features.
Using Bassym - J is easy. First, make sure you have the UVI Workstation 3 version 3.1.6 or later installed as it comes with the product for free. When you open the interface, you can start by adjusting the settings at the bottom. For the legato mode, think about how you want your notes to flow. If you want a smooth transition, choose the option that triggers hammer ons or slides. The legato distance setting helps you decide how far apart notes can be for the legato effect to work. The release volume setting controls the sound when you let go of a string while a note is playing. You can turn the cabinet simulation on or off to change the overall tone. The EQ settings let you adjust the bass and treble to get the sound you like. And the sensitivity setting allows you to set the minimum volume for different velocities. As for maintenance, keep your software updated to the latest version of UVI Workstation 3. Also, make sure your computer has enough storage space for the 1.42GB uncompressed samples. That's all you need to know to start making great music with Bassym - J!
