The Upright offers samples of a Chinese 4/4 four - string Upright bass (double bass) recorded from three unique microphone perspectives: a pair of overheads, one beside the F - Hole, and the pickup. These perspectives let you customize the sound, adding more bass, roundness, or detail like finger noises. On the left side of the interface, you can manage the instrument's behavior. In legato mode, you decide if playing legato triggers hammer ons, slides, sustains, or has no effect. The legato distance sets the max interval for legato application. You can turn on the Slap effect and control its volume and sensitivity. The release volume represents the sound when releasing a string during a note. Sensitivity sets the min volume for velocity 1 and gives access to all desired dynamics. On the right side, you can adjust the different microphone positions. You can change the volume of each recording perspective from the interface. This product features 2.54GB uncompressed, 987MB compressed in lossless flac format, around 2772 samples. It has three microphone positions, 6 velocity layers for sustain with 2 round robins per note, 14 velocities for release, hammer on and pull off samples, an advanced vibrato effect via modulation wheel, slides, slap samples, harmonics, ghost notes, string hits, percussion samples with round robins, and advanced UVI scripting for a simple yet powerful interface and advanced features.
