Product Detail

The PSound Bandoneon is a remarkable philological reproduction of a historic Alfred Arnold Bandoneon crafted in Germany during the 50s. It features a distinctive sound produced by 2 zinc reeds for each note. Sampled in 4 layers with 2 round robin, it offers a total of 440 samples taking up over 1 GB of storage. Key features include a 96 kHz sample rate, 24 - bit resolution, perfectly looped samples, 4 velocity layers, key - on and key - off noises, adjustable volume for reeds and noise, and right and left hand presets. It's compatible with UVI Workstation 2.5.6 or higher (free), UVI Falcon, and MOTU Machfive 3.2.1 or higher, requiring a free iLok account and iLok License Manager.

Using the PSound Bandoneon is a breeze. First, make sure you have the required software installed on your system, like UVI Workstation 2.5.6 or higher. You'll also need a free iLok account and the iLok License Manager. Once everything is set up, load the samples into your software. You can adjust the volume of the reeds and the noise according to your preference. The right and left hand presets give you different playing options. When it comes to maintenance, since this is a virtual instrument, you mainly need to keep your software updated. Always back up your samples regularly in case of any system issues. And remember, since it takes up over 1 GB of storage, make sure you have enough space on your hard drive.
