Product Detail

The Roland TB-303 Bass Line has an unmistakable sonic signature full of warmth, energy, and character. It defined the acid house movement in the late 1980s. Launched in 1981, it was initially misunderstood. But later, electronic music producers rediscovered it and unleashed its hypnotic, liquid sound. The TB-303 Software Bass Line brings this historic instrument to your DAW with circuit - level accuracy and modern enhancements. The TB-303 is a groundbreaking instrument. When Roland released it in 1981 as a computerized bass machine, it didn't gain popularity at first. Later, musicians found new uses for its fluid low end. DJ Pierre and Phuture used the 303 to pioneer acid music, which influenced other electronic genres and rave culture. The TB-303 Software Synthesizer takes the classic to the next level. Using Roland's Analog Circuit Behavior modeling, it captures the original's hypnotic tone and complements other classic Roland instruments. Its iconic interface and signature sounds are perfectly reproduced, with new features added. The new editing window allows you to create and edit patterns visually. You can see preset pattern details, edit variations, or start from scratch, using up to six octaves with various functions. The randomize/generate functions offer endless classic 303 patterns. With five new play modes, you can experiment more freely. The TB-303 can hold 64 patterns and 64 patches per bank. It comes with 32 preset patterns and 48 unique sounds. A hidden panel unlocks new tone - coloring features, and onboard effects like distortion and delay inspire new ideas. Roland Cloud's TB-303 lets you emulate the past or create new sounds. It can be paired with TB-03 or TB-3 for hands - on control. Key features include 64 patterns and patches per bank, new graphic edit window, circuit modification, and more.

Using the Roland Cloud TB-303 is easy. First, install the software plug - in in your DAW. Once it's up and running, you can start exploring the sounds. Use the new editing window to create or edit patterns. You can see the details of preset patterns and make changes as you like. Try different scales, accents, and pitch manipulations. The five play modes offer a lot of ways to experiment. Just select the mode you want and see how it changes the bass sound. For memory management, you can save up to 64 patterns and 64 patches per bank. The preset patterns and unique sounds are a great starting point. When it comes to the secret panel, play around with the new knobs to change the tone. You can adjust the age and condition of the virtual hardware using the condition knob. Also, the onboard effects like distortion and delay can add a lot of flavor to your music. If you have a TB-03 or TB-3, pair them with the plug - in for hands - on control. Keep your software updated to get the best performance. And always make sure your DAW is compatible with the TB-303 plug - in. When not in use, it's a good idea to close the plug - in to save system resources.
