A Close, Delicate and Detailed Upright Piano. Renowned jazz artist and Mercury Prize nominee Gwilym Simcock performed this Felt Piano. Recorded dry at Spitfire Studios, soft felt was placed between the hammers and strings. It offers condenser, ribbon, and hammers signals. There are ten presets, ranging from dry and close to reverberant and pad - like. You can control the ADSR and sustain pedal level. Signals include a pair of large diaphragm condenser microphones for a full and present tone, a pair of vintage ribbon microphones for a warm and rounded tone, and a set of hammer - focused sounds for added performance depth. Presets are Ribbon Reverb, Up Close, Half and Half, Piano Pad, Reverse, Short Space, Marcato Attack, Ribbon Reverb (Extended Dynamics), Up Close (Extended Dynamics), and Half and Half (Extended Dynamics).

Using this felt piano is easy. First, select one of the ten presets according to your preference, whether you like a dry and close sound or a reverberant and pad - like one. Then, adjust the ADSR and sustain pedal level to get the right feel. When it comes to signals, you can choose the condenser for a full tone, the ribbon for a warm sound, or add the hammer signals for more depth. As for maintenance, keep the piano in a dry and clean environment. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures and humidity. If you notice any issues, contact the manufacturer's customer service.
