Water, metal, glass, and stone come together in the VSL Studio Elements SYNCHRON-ized sound library. It features rare and unique instruments from the VI Elements Collection, expanded with more extraordinary ones. The archaic sounds range from ethereal shimmers to thunderous strikes, offering a perfect, out-of-the-box sound powered by the Vienna Synchron Player. For the SYNCHRON-ized version, we've broadened the sound library. We added more great instruments and created other - worldly sonic effects using the Synchron Player's plug - ins and routing options. New instruments include a second lithophone, another waterphone, and more. The sound sources cover water, metal, stone, and glass. With mixer presets, each instrument can be placed in nine positions in the Synchron Stage Vienna for an ideal sound. The waterphone, invented in 1967, has a unique sound that can be heard even in a full orchestra. The glass harmonica, popular in Mozart's time, creates lovely tones. The lithophone has a wide tonal range. The metal category and exotic percussion instruments round out the collection. There are also 'FX Presets' and support for Native Instruments' NKS format. Using VSL Studio Elements is easy. First, install the library on your device. Once installed, you can access it through the Vienna Synchron Player. To get started, browse through the different instruments in the collection. You can use the mixer presets to place each instrument in different positions in the Synchron Stage Vienna and adjust the sound to your liking. When using the waterphone, try scraping the metal rods with a bow and pivoting the water - filled body to modify the sound. For the glass harmonica, put wet fingers on the rotating bowls. With the lithophone, strike the sounding stone bars. Regarding the metal instruments, experiment with different striking and rubbing tools. As for the presets, there are both 'classic' and 'FX Presets'. The 'Combined FX' category offers new and exciting sounds. You can use the Light Guide if you're using Native Instruments' NKS - compatible devices like Komplete Kontrol keyboards and Maschine. Just keep in mind that the download file size is 3.3 GB and the installed file size is 12.7 GB, so make sure you have enough storage space.
