Product Detail

The French avant - metal band Gojira, named after the Japanese pronunciation of Godzilla, has become a top metal act in the new millennium. Led by Joe Duplantier, they explore extremes in music. Charvel's signature model for Duplantier is both elegant and powerful, perfect for these musical adventures. This guitar features a mahogany body with a satin finish and a San Dimas® Style 2 shape. It has a Charvel® fully adjustable radius compensated bridge with an anchored tailpiece. The bridge and neck pickups are Duncan Designed™ HB - 103B and HB - 103N respectively. The ebony fingerboard has a 12' - 16' compound radius and jumbo frets. With black hardware finish, a licensed Fender® Telecaster® headstock, and a bolt - on neck with graphite reinforcement. It has a 3 - position toggle pickup switching, right - hand orientation, and nickel - plated steel strings (.009 -.042 gauges).

Using this electric guitar is a breeze. Just plug it into an amplifier, and you're ready to start playing. When tuning, use the Charvel® - branded die - cast locking tuning machines for accurate and stable tuning. For cleaning, use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the body and strings regularly. Avoid exposing the guitar to extreme temperatures and humidity, as this can damage the wood and electronics. If you need to adjust the truss rod, use the included truss rod wrench carefully. Make small adjustments and check the neck relief frequently. When not in use, store the guitar in a proper guitar case to protect it from scratches and bumps.
