Product Detail

The RG is an iconic guitar in the Ibanez range. Three decades of metal music have shaped this high - performance instrument, making it fast and powerful. Whether you prefer a fixed bridge or Ibanez's top - notch locking tremolo system, the RG offers precision. The GIO series is a great choice for those who want Ibanez quality on a budget. These guitars not only look and play better than others in their price range but also come with the same rigorous inspection, set - up, and warranty as Ibanez's costlier models. Key features include a Maple neck for stability and bright tones, and a Purpleheart fretboard that enhances the guitar's beauty and rich tonal character. SPECS: Neck type is GRG Maple neck. It has a Quilted Maple Art Grain top and a Poplar body. The fretboard is a Bound Purpleheart with White dot inlay and Jumbo frets (24 in total). It comes with a T102 tremolo bridge, string space of 10.5mm. Neck and bridge pickups are both Infinity R (H), passive/ceramic. Factory tuning is standard (1E,2B,3G,4D,5A,6E) with a string gauge of .009/.011/.016/.024/.032/.042 and black hardware. PLU: GRG120QASPBGD

Using your Ibanez Gio Series GRG120QASPBGD electric guitar is easy. First, tune it using the factory - recommended tuning (1E,2B,3G,4D,5A,6E). You can use a tuner for accurate tuning. When you play, the tremolo bridge can add a lot of expression to your music, but be careful not to over - use it as it might throw the guitar out of tune. For maintenance, keep your guitar in a dry place. Wipe it down after each use to remove sweat and dirt. You can use a soft cloth for the body and a fretboard cleaner for the Purpleheart fretboard. Every few months, check the strings and change them if they start to sound dull or look worn. And don't forget to have a professional set up your guitar periodically to keep it in top - notch playing condition.
