Experience the rich, booming sound of a Dreadnought in a more manageable size with the DJR-10E StreetMaster. Its unique distressed finish gives it a well-worn look, like an old musical companion. This guitar is not only stylish but also super comfortable to play, thanks to its thinner body and high-performance neck taper. When it's time to hit the stage or studio, the high-performance Fishman Sonitone electronics make it easy to plug in and pour your heart into your music. Using Your Martin DJR-10E StreetMaster Guitar First, take your guitar out of the soft gig bag. If you're a beginner, start by tuning the guitar using the chrome enclosed gear tuning machines. The white Corian nut helps keep the strings in place for accurate tuning. When you're ready to play, hold the guitar comfortably. The thinner body and high-performance neck taper make it easy to reach all the frets. The fingerboard with FSC Certified Richlite material provides a smooth playing surface. If you're playing acoustically, just strum or pick the strings. But if you want to plug it in, use the Fishman Sonitone electronics. Connect your guitar to an amplifier or sound system, and you're ready to rock the stage or record in the studio. Care and Maintenance After each use, wipe down the guitar with a soft cloth to remove any dirt or sweat. Keep the guitar in a dry place to prevent damage. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or humidity. If the strings start to sound dull or lose their tone, it's time to replace them. Use the recommended Retro Light MM12 strings for the best sound. Once in a while, check the tuning machines to make sure they're working properly. And if you notice any issues with the electronics or other parts, it's a good idea to take it to a professional guitar technician for a check-up.
