As you play harder and your hands sweat, the grip gets tackier. It's applied thinly like traditional lacquer, adding no extra diameter or weight. Unlike many grips on the market, it won't hurt your hands or limit your movement. Hickory is a top choice for drumsticks because it's resilient, responsive, durable, and has a classic feel. Using these drumsticks is easy. Just hold them in your normal drumming grip and start playing. As you play, the ActiveGrip will get stickier as your hands heat up and sweat, giving you a better hold. When it comes to maintenance, keep them dry. Avoid leaving them in very humid or wet places as this could damage the wood. If the grip starts to feel less sticky, you can clean the drumsticks gently with a dry cloth. Be careful not to drop them from a high place as this could cause the wood to crack. Also, don't use them on overly hard surfaces that could quickly wear down the tips.
