Boss FS-5U Footswitch Unlatch Type

BOSS offers two types of footswitches for different applications. The FS - 5U is a momentary - type footswitch. Simply hold down the switch to engage a function. In contrast, the FS - 5L (latch type) toggles the on/off status with each press. PLU: FS5U.

Using the Boss FS - 5U footswitch is easy. When you need to activate a function, just press and hold the switch. To stop the function, release it. It's important to keep the footswitch on a stable and clean surface to avoid accidental movements. Also, don't apply excessive force when pressing the switch. For maintenance, use a dry cloth to wipe the surface regularly. If there's dirt in the crevices, use a small brush to clean gently.
