It requires Native Instruments Kontakt Full 5.8.1 or above; the free Kontakt Player is not supported.
Using the Budapest Abstract Marimba is easy. First, make sure you have Native Instruments Kontakt Full 5.8.1 or above installed, as the free Kontakt Player won't work. Once installed, you can start exploring the 6 different hit and tremolo instruments. Use the soft, medium, hard sticks, hands, or brush to play and create unique sounds. Adjust the 4 velocity layers from pianissimo to forte to add dynamics to your music. The 17 GUI controls give you a lot of flexibility. You can switch instruments, control attack - decay, adjust room mix, use EQ presets, and more. When recording, it was done with high - quality microphones, so you're getting great sound right out of the box. As for maintenance, keep your software up - to - date to ensure smooth operation.
