Product Detail

Odeholm Audio's Fatal Snares aren't just strong - they hit like a knockout punch. These popular snares come in three tunings per shell (with pitch adjustment option) and work with Slate Trigger and full - versions of Native Instruments Kontakt 5.8 and above. Each snare has raw and processed variants. The raw samples let you start from the drum's natural tone and blend six mic options like 2x Snare Top Mics, 1x Snare Bottom Mic, 1x Stereo Overheads, 1x Stereo Room, and 1x Mono Room to create your unique sound. The processed version uses Buster's personal EQ and compression. With just two faders for direct and room sounds, you can easily get an amazing snare sound in a few clicks. Included shells are from different types like Taiwan BP, Chicago Witchcraft, Swiss Maple Custom, and Swiss Aluminium Custom, each in low, mid, and high tunings. Tech specs include articulations like Ghost, Soft, Medium, Hard, and Even Harder, 5760 samples with 10x round - robin per articulation, and formats NKI for Kontakt Full 5.8 or later and TCI for Slate Trigger 2. Note, it needs the full version of Kontakt V5.8 or later; in Kontakt Player, it runs in demo mode but you can print audio before timeout.

Using Odeholm Audio's Fatal Snares is a breeze. First, if you're using Kontakt, make sure you have the full version 5.8 or later. If you're using Kontakt Player, it'll be in demo mode, but you can print the audio before the time runs out. For the raw variant, start by picking your desired shell and tuning. Then, play around with the six mic options. Blend them together to craft your own special snare sound. You can adjust the pitch according to your needs. When it comes to the processed variant, it's even simpler. Just use the two faders to control the direct and room sounds. With just a few clicks, you'll get that awesome snare sound. As for maintenance, since these are digital samples, there's no physical maintenance required. But keep your software updated to ensure the best performance. And always make sure to back up your projects so you don't lose any of your amazing drum creations.
