Product Detail

Soundiron Cacophony is an incredibly vast collection of live concert hall sound effects. It includes room tones, crowd reactions, orchestral tuning drones, and incidental sounds. As technology drives us towards musical perfection, it's these real - world details that make live music so immersive. The missing elements like the audience's murmur and the players' tuning are all here. We've spent nearly 2 decades recording orchestras, ensembles, and solo performers, building an authentic collection. These sounds can be used for sound design in music, video games, movies, VR, TV, and apps. The Kontakt interface offers full creative control with automation - ready sound - shaping features. There are 20 custom sound - designed presets, an adaptable LFO system, and a variety of filters. The customizable arpeggiator and key/scale lock system aid in composition. The modular FX rack with 18 DSP effect modules and convolution reverb open up endless musical possibilities.

To use Soundiron Cacophony, first, make sure you have the full retail version of Native Instruments Kontakt 5.5 or later. Import the library into the Kontakt Quickload window using the standard File browser tab. Once loaded, you can start exploring the various sound - shaping controls like swell, attack, and release. For creative effects, try the 20 custom presets. When using the LFO system, select the shape, target parameter, and speed to get the desired modulation. The arpeggiator can add a unique rhythm to your music; adjust its direction, timing, and swing as you like. As for the FX rack, experiment with different DSP modules and their order. Be aware that the free Kontakt Player can only run the library in a limited 'demo mode'. If you want to use the samples in other wav - compatible software, you can do so as the sample directories are unlocked. There's no special maintenance required for this library, but keep your Kontakt software updated to ensure the best performance.
