Product Detail

The Soundiron Magnus is a classic 37-key analog chord organ from the 1960s, originally made by the Magnus Harmonica Corporation. It features six major and six minor chord buttons. We've captured its rich, buttery tone with long sustains and sharp staccatos. Beyond a typical sample library, we've crafted 20 amazing custom chord organ and effects presets, plus 40 unique ambiences for atmospheric synths and more. The GUI is loaded with sound - shaping controls like volume, attack, release, and more. You can play legato leads with the glide control and use an adaptable LFO system. There are also 13 types of filters with various modulation controls and a customizable arpeggiator. Recorded via direct line outputs, it comes with easy - to - use features like octave, vibrato, and an FX rack. The library includes a full DSP effects rack with convolution reverb for endless sonic exploration. It has 2 main presets, 20 custom FX presets, and a variety of samples. It's designed for Native Instruments Kontakt 5.5 or later, with 1.04 GB installed, 458 samples, and 22 Kontakt 5.5.2.nki preset banks. The unlocked wav samples can be used in other wav - compatible software.

Using the Soundiron Magnus is a breeze. First, make sure you have Native Instruments Kontakt Full 5.5.2 or later installed on your MacOS 10.9 or higher, or Windows 7 or higher system. Load the library into Kontakt through the standard File browser tab and import it into the Kontakt Quickload window. To start making music, select a preset from the 2 main presets or the 20 custom ones. You can shape the sound using the controls on the GUI. For example, adjust the volume, attack, and release to change how the sound starts and ends. Use the glide control to play smooth legato leads. The LFO system allows you to add some movement to your sound. Don't forget to explore the 13 different filters and the customizable arpeggiator. When it comes to effects, the convolution reverb offers a wide range of spaces to make your sound more immersive. As for maintenance, keep your system updated to ensure the best performance. And since it's a virtual library, there's no need for physical cleaning. Just make sure your hard drive has enough space, preferably an SSD or SATA drive, as it's recommended for this library.
