The Hoard Fingerstyle is a warm and intimate acoustic guitar that offers a unique playing experience. When you play it with your fingers instead of a pick, you can feel a lot of personality and vibe between the gentle brush and rounded pluck. Musical Sampling invited their favorite guitarist, Jason Hoard, to focus on the softer side of performances. The 'Sustains Hammer Pull' instrument uses new scripting, enabling you to play legato hammer - ons and pull - offs in a polyphonic sustains patch. It's a joy to play and get lost in improvisation. With sustain pedal support, you can play successive notes without polyphony build - up while keeping legato capabilities. The Master Legato patch has multiple legato articulations, including natural legato, slide to pluck (with CC slide speed control), hammer - on/pull - off, and slide without plucking, all switchable via velocity control. There are also tempo - synced 1/4 and 1/8th note loops at five tempos (80, 100, 120, 140 & 160), great for creating fingerstyle patterns, rhythmic beds and strums. For more versatility, it includes tuned and doubler versions of the patches for double - tracking needs. Features include a warm fingerstyle acoustic guitar, three legato articulations activated by velocity, a sustains patch with legato hammer/pulls, natural & tuned temperament, and adjustable reverb of custom hall impulse. Patches are diverse, such as Master Legato Main, Sustains & Hammer Pull, Harmonics, etc.

Using this guitar is a breeze. When you start playing, decide whether to use your fingers for that warm, personal touch or explore other options. For the Master Legato patch, different velocity ranges give you different legato articulations. Just play with the velocities between 41 - 90 for natural plucked legato, 91 - 127 for hammer - on/pull - off, and 1 - 40 for slide into pluck. You can control the slide speed with the mod wheel. When using the Sustains Hammer Pull patch, if the next note is a half or whole - step up or down, it'll trigger the legato samples. If you want to turn off legato temporarily, hold the C1 key. The sustain pedal helps you play successive notes smoothly. For the KS Loops, the default pattern is a plucked quarter - note on C1, and C#1 switches to an eighth - note performance. As for maintenance, keep it in a dry and clean place. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or humidity. Regularly check the strings for wear and tear and replace them when needed. Enjoy creating beautiful music with this amazing guitar!
