Axe Machina is an amazing multi-sampled virtual electric guitar library for pure metal destruction. Craig Peters sampled his custom Kiesel Aries 7-string guitar tuned to A Standard. It has 24 frets, a swamp ash body with a unique style and natural tone, a birdseye maple neck, and Guitarmory Polaris pickups with D'Addario XL 10 - 64 gauge strings. We sampled single note and power chord sustains with palm mute variations, and there are also various SFX like pinch harmonics. You can dial in your dream tone with amp simulators or our custom reamped tone. The flexible GUI offers real - time articulation selection and many performance features. The library comes with different presets like Main, Lite, DI, Amped, etc. It also has a modular FX rack with 27 DSP effect modules and a great reverb effect. This library is for Native Instruments Kontakt 6.2.2 or later and offers 8 powerful .nki presets, 62,630 unlocked WAV samples, and more.

To use Axe Machina, first make sure you have Native Instruments Kontakt 6.2.2 or later installed. Import the library into the Kontakt Quickload window. You can start with the provided presets like Main for all samples or Lite for lower RAM usage. Dial in your tone by sending the pure D.I. signal through your favorite amp simulator or using the custom reamped tone. Use the flexible GUI to select articulations and access performance features. When it comes to effects, the modular FX rack lets you assign 27 different DSP effect modules in any order. Just click on the available slots and choose the effects you like. As for maintenance, keep your software updated to ensure smooth performance. Also, make sure your computer has enough storage space as the library takes up 31.9 GB when installed. Avoid using the free Kontakt Player for full - fledged use as it only supports a limited 'demo mode'.
