Kwaya by Eduardo Tarilonte is an outstanding choir library featuring authentic African voices and chants. Ideal for producers aiming to add unique African elements to their works, such as movie or TV soundtracks, musical compositions, and more. It offers 4 male and 2 female solo voices, 5 true African - style legatos (a, e, i, o, u), and a special 'Mmmh articulation'. With 40 different syllables recorded for each singer, you can create individual vocal lines and choirs by arranging them in different pitches. The powerful Phrase - Arranger comes with 20 phrases, each having 8 syllables. You can combine 40 words with true legato playing, and the corresponding vowel is automatically selected. There are also over 700 voice effects and 16 soundscapes. The library has full NKS support for Native Instruments’ Komplete Kontrol controller - keyboards. Recorded in the Spanish Eldana Studio with excellent acoustics and equipment, it contains over 10,000 samples (7 GB uncompressed, 4.5 GB compressed) and includes a free Kontakt Player (Version 5.5 or higher required).

Using Kwaya is a breeze. First, make sure you have the free Kontakt Player (Version 5.5 or higher). Once installed, you can start exploring the different voices and syllables. To create vocal lines, use the keyswitches to switch between the 40 different syllables recorded for each singer. You can arrange these syllables in different pitches to form individual vocal lines or choirs. The Phrase - Arranger is a great tool; just select one of the 20 phrases and start editing. You can choose between 40 syllables, five vowels, and the 'mm' articulation. Remember, when combining words with true legato playing, the corresponding vowel will be automatically selected. For the short syllables, you can fine - adjust the speed in the phrase arranger. When adding voice effects, pick from over 700 options to add that special touch to your vocal arrangements. As for maintenance, keep your Kontakt Player updated to ensure smooth operation. Also, since it's a digital library, make sure your storage has enough space for the uncompressed 7 GB data if needed. Enjoy creating with Kwaya's authentic African voices!
