Using this truss rod wrench is a breeze. First, find the truss rod access point on your Martin guitar. Insert the 4mm ball - end of the wrench into the truss rod nut. Turn the wrench gently to adjust the neck's curvature. Clockwise turns usually make the neck straighter, while counter - clockwise turns can add a bit of relief. When using it, don't apply too much force at once. Make small adjustments and then check the action of the strings. As for maintenance, keep the wrench clean and dry. You can use a soft cloth to wipe it after each use. Store it in a dry place to prevent rusting.
