The Music Ducking button automatically lowers channel 2 when you speak into the mic on channel 1. The Feedback Eliminator stops those annoying squeals. Using your Mackie THUMP215 powered speaker is easy. First, connect your audio source to the appropriate input. You can use the XLR/TRS inputs on channels 1 and 2, or the stereo 1/8” aux input. If you're using a microphone on channel 1 and want to make an announcement while music is playing on channel 2, just press the Music Ducking button and the music level on channel 2 will automatically go down. To prevent feedback, press the Feedback Eliminator button. When it comes to power, the speaker has a universal power supply, so you can use it with different voltage sources from 100 - 240VAC. For setup, you can use the standard pole mount or place it on the floor as a monitor using the monitor wedge. As for maintenance, keep the speaker in a dry and clean place. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or moisture. Regularly check the connections to make sure they're secure.
