Product Detail
The AF from Ibanez's Artcore series is a traditional semi-hollowbody electric guitar. Its full-hollow construction without sound blocks creates rich, complex tones, perfect for purists. For ten years, Ibanez has been innovating in the hollow-body guitar segment with diverse designs. The new Expressionist line is a fresh chapter in the Artcore story. Jazz fans will love the original Super 58 pickups, favored by George Benson, Pat Metheny, and John Scofield. These pickups, as proven by Eric Krasno, perform well in various music styles. They offer warm, balanced articulation and excellent response. The guitar features an AF Expressionist 3pc Nyatoh/Maple set-in neck, flamed maple top, back, and sides, a bound ebony fretboard with acrylic block inlay, medium frets, a Gibraltar Performer bridge, VT06 tailpiece, Super 58 (H) neck and bridge pickups, and comes with a factory tuning of 1E,2B,3G,4D,5A,6E and a string gauge of .010/.013/.017/.030/.042/.052. The hardware is in gold color. PLU: AF95FMAYS.
Using your Ibanez AF95FM-AYS guitar is easy. First, tune it using the factory tuning of 1E,2B,3G,4D,5A,6E. You can use a guitar tuner to get accurate tuning. When you play, the Super 58 pickups will give you warm and balanced tones. You can try different playing styles like jazz, funk, or rock to explore the full potential of the pickups. For cleaning, use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the body, fretboard, and strings after each use. This will keep the guitar looking good and prevent dirt and sweat from damaging it. When storing the guitar, keep it in a cool, dry place. Avoid leaving it in direct sunlight or in a very humid environment as this can warp the wood or damage the hardware. Also, check the string gauge regularly. The factory string gauge is .010/.013/.017/.030/.042/.052. If the strings start to sound dull or break easily, it's time to replace them.
