Product Detail

Bassym - M offers high - quality samples of a four - string Musicman Stingray bass with roundwound strings. At the interface bottom, easily control the instrument's behavior. In legato mode, decide if a legato triggers hammer ons, slides, sustains or has no effect. Set the legato distance for the max interval of legato application. Adjust the release volume for the sound when releasing a string during a note. Toggle the cabinet simulation on or off and edit the parametric EQ's bass and treble. Set the sensitivity for minimum volume at velocity 1 and access desired dynamics. This pack comes with the free UVI Workstation 3 sample player (requires v3.1.6 or later), so no need to buy an expensive sampler. Features include 260MB uncompressed, 151MB lossless flac - compressed samples (around 855 samples), 11 velocity layers for sustain, 10 velocities for release, hammer on and slide samples, an advanced vibrato effect via modulation wheel, random string noises, harmonics, ghost notes, string hits samples, and advanced UVI scripting for a simple yet powerful interface and features.

Using Bassym - M is a breeze. First, make sure you have the UVI Workstation 3 (version 3.1.6 or later) installed as it comes free with the product. When you open the interface, at the bottom, you can start adjusting the instrument's settings. For the legato mode, think about how you want your music to flow. If you want smooth transitions, choose the options that trigger hammer ons or slides. The legato distance setting helps you control how far apart notes can be for the legato effect to work. Adjust the release volume to get the right sound when you let go of a string. You can also play around with the cabinet simulation and EQ to get the tone you like. Set the sensitivity to make sure you can get all the different volumes you want. As for maintenance, keep your software up - to - date. Since it's a digital product, there's not much physical maintenance. But always backup your samples in case something goes wrong with your computer. Enjoy creating great music with Bassym - M!
