Product Detail

The Cherry Audio Miniverse, formerly known as Minimode, is an incredibly detailed virtual emulation of the most iconic portable synthesizer. Introduced in 1971, it's the most well - known analog synth, defining the sound of countless artists like Kraftwerk, Herbie Hancock, and Pink Floyd. Even after 50 years, its thick, juicy analog sound remains unmatched. Our Miniverse pays ultimate tribute to the original. Working with DSP master Mark Barton, we focused on absolute authenticity. The interface is a precise copy of the original, from the maple cabinet to the 'Cosmo' knobs. We didn't add extra features that could distract from the classic vibe, instead offering the pure, raw sound of the original. Whether you need monstrous leads, funky basslines, or warm pads, Miniverse has got you covered. It offers up to 16 polyphonic voices and includes over 250 presets by professional sound designers. We've also added a new feature: saving custom MIDI controller mappings to individual presets or globally. Features include a faithful virtual analog emulation, three oscillators with various waveforms, a classic ladder filter, accurate feedback and sidechain, and much more. It has superb MIDI support, Cherry Audio's Focus zoom - in feature, and is highly optimized for low CPU load.

Using the Cherry Audio Miniverse is a breeze. First, power it up and start exploring the presets. You can easily switch between different types of sounds like leads, basslines, and pads. If you want to create your own sound, play around with the three oscillators and the classic four - pole filter. To adjust the polyphony, simply select the number of voices you desire. For MIDI control, connect your MIDI controller and use the MIDI learn feature to map the controls. When it comes to the new preset MIDI mapping, you can save custom mappings either for individual presets or globally. As for maintenance, make sure your computer meets the recommended system requirements to ensure optimal performance. Keep your software up - to - date to access the latest features and bug fixes. Also, since it's a virtual instrument, there's no physical cleaning required, but keep your computer environment clean to avoid any technical glitches.
