It features all essential articulations with up to four dynamics, ensuring expressiveness and realism. Every instrument is close-mic'd for detailed sound, and you can control 3 close mic positions, plus main, mid-field, and surround mics. It's Atmos-ready, allowing you to create Atmos mixes. Recorded in the same studio as many famous soundtracks, it suits various genres. The original award-winning producers and engineer are back. It has 126 meticulously crafted instruments and over 160 gigabytes of sampled sounds, powered by the OPUS engine. It includes 6 1st Violins, 4 2nd Violins, 4 Violas, 4 Celli, 3 Basses, and Full Strings, each with unique features. With 6 mic positions, a broad articulation set, and control over dynamics, it can fit any scoring task.
Using EastWest Hollywood Strings 2 is easy. First, download the instruments you need with the OPUS engine. You can choose to download individual ones or all of them. When using, adjust the 6 mic positions to get the sound you want, like using the close mics for a more intimate sound or the surround mics for a broader one. For different styles of music, select the appropriate articulations from the extensive set. For example, use legato for smooth melodies and staccato for sharp notes. Be careful not to over - use effects like tremolo to keep the sound balanced. When it comes to maintenance, make sure your computer meets the system requirements for the software.
