Using your Charvel Pro - Mod San Dimas SD3 HSS HT M Electric Guitar is a breeze. First, make sure your guitar is properly tuned using the Charvel® - branded die - cast locking tuning machines. Plug it into your amplifier and start playing. You can switch between different pickup combinations using the 5 - position blade switch to get various sounds. For high - speed solos, the full bridge pickup in position 1 gives a powerful sound. When you want a softer tone, try position 5 with the full neck pickup. As for maintenance, keep your guitar clean. Wipe it down after each use with a soft cloth to remove sweat and dirt. Check the strings regularly. Replace them when they start to sound dull or lose their tension. The nut and bridge are important parts. Make sure they are free of debris. If you need to adjust the truss rod, use the heel - mount truss rod adjustment wheel carefully. And always store your guitar in a proper case to protect it from bumps and scratches.
