Product Detail

Ibanez, a pioneer in using exotic tonewoods, keeps innovating with the new AEW series. This innovative design combines a classic Spruce top with an elegant exotic tonewood back and sides. The thinner body, perfect for amplification, makes these acoustic/electric guitars ideal for gigging singer - songwriters. A 'soft' Florentine cutaway allows easy access to the 17th fret. The Fishman Pickup and Ibanez Preamp offer great tonal reproduction, control, and easy operation. The exotic tonewoods give each model a unique tone and look that will surely draw attention. The AEWC is a specially designed comfort body. It features a Flamed Maple top, back, and sides. The AEWC Asymmetric comfort Nyatoh neck provides a great playing feel. The Laurel fretboard and bridge offer durability. With off - set white dot inlays, an Abalone soundhole rosette, and Chrome Die - cast tuners with Black knobs, it looks and plays great. It has 20 frets, Plastic nut and saddle, Ibanez IACS6C strings with an 11mm string space. The Fishman® Sonicore pickup and Ibanez AEQ - SP2 preamp with an onboard tuner ensure excellent sound. It also has balanced XLR and 1/4' outputs. PLU: AEWC400IBB.

Using your Ibanez AEWC400 - IBB guitar is a breeze. First, tune your guitar using the onboard tuner in the preamp. Simply turn it on and adjust the Chrome Die - cast tuners until the strings are in tune. When you're ready to play, the thin and comfortable body makes it easy to hold, whether you're sitting or standing. The 'soft' Florentine cutaway lets you reach the higher frets without any hassle. To get the best sound, plug the guitar into an amplifier using either the balanced XLR or 1/4' output. You can adjust the tone and volume using the controls on the Ibanez AEQ - SP2 preamp. As for maintenance, keep your guitar in a dry and stable environment to prevent the wood from warping. Wipe the strings with a clean cloth after each use to remove dirt and sweat. You can also polish the body occasionally to keep it looking shiny. And if you're not using the guitar for a long time, loosen the strings a bit to relieve the tension on the neck.
