Product Detail

The Dreadnought Junior is crafted for players who desire the big Dreadnought sound in a more compact body. The newly upgraded DJr-10E showcases satin-finished sapele back and sides in a gorgeous cherry color. You can choose between a satin-finished Sitka spruce or Sapele top. It features a hand-rubbed neck with a high-performance taper and Fishman® Sonitone electronics. This guitar has a thinner 000 body depth and softer back edges, ensuring maximum comfort during play. Each Junior comes with a soft gig bag for easy carrying. This model is an updated version of the discontinued D Jr. E and D JR. 2E SAPELE. Specifications include a D Junior - 14 Fret (000 Depth) body size, satin finish on the top and back & sides, a Mortise & Tenon Neck Joint, an X - Brace pattern, a 24' scale length, scalloped brace shape, 1 3/4' fingerboard width at the nut, Sitka Spruce or Sapele top material, Dreadnought Junior neck shape, sapele back and side materials, Fishman Sonitone electronics, and Retro® Light MM12 recommended strings. PLU: DJR10E

Using this Martin DJR - 10E guitar is straightforward. Just pick it up with the gig bag and start strumming. When you're ready to plug in, use the Fishman Sonitone electronics to connect to an amplifier. For the best sound, use the recommended Retro® Light MM12 strings. When not in use, keep the guitar in its gig bag to protect it from dust and minor impacts. Clean the guitar regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or high humidity, as this can damage the wood and electronics. If you need to adjust the neck or change the strings, it's a good idea to take it to a professional guitar technician.
