The Martin DX1E-04 X-Series Dreadnought Sitka Acoustic/Electric Guitar is a great - value instrument. It features a new Style 28 mother - of - pearl pattern fingerboard inlay, adding classic Martin charm. Equipped with Fishman® MX electronics and Martin’s Authentic Acoustic Lifespan® 2.0 strings, it offers excellent sound quality. The included soft gig bag has headstock, bridge, and endpin protectors, a durable water - repellent exterior, and foam padding, making it travel - ready. Specifications: Body size is D - 14 Fret. It has a Mortise & Tenon Neck Joint. The bracing pattern is X - Brace with scalloped brace shape. Top, back, and side materials are HPL. Electronics option is Fishman® MX. Bridge is Modern Belly - Drop in Saddle with FSC® Certified Richlite® material. Neck is made of Rust Birch Laminate with a Hand - Rubbed finish. Left - handed version is available.

Using Your Martin DX1E - 04 Guitar: First, take it out of the gig bag carefully. Make sure to hold it by the body and neck. Tune the guitar using the chrome - enclosed gear tuning machines. Start strumming or playing your favorite chords. You can connect it to an amplifier through the Fishman® MX electronics for an amplified sound. Notice that the strings are pre - strung with Martin’s Authentic Acoustic Lifespan® 2.0 strings. These strings offer a long - lasting and great sound. When not in use, put it back in the gig bag. The gig bag has protectors for the headstock, bridge, and endpin, and a water - repellent exterior, which keeps your guitar safe. Maintenance Tips: Keep the guitar in a dry place.
