EPIA is an amazing Rhodes Stage 73 library, meticulously sampled for Kontakt. It offers a warm and versatile sound, along with a set of great effects to meet most of your musical needs. There's also an optional'synthetic layer', a simple synth engine that reacts to velocity, making waveforms more or less complex. EPIA comes with 9 effects, and you can choose between direct output or through a virtual amplifier with 11 matching cabinets for added character. It sounds fantastic across a wide range of tones, from lush and creamy to screaming overdriven funky electric piano. Key features include A/R Envelope, Hammer release sounds, Dynamic range limiter, Stereo widener, and a Synthetic layer with LP and HP filters. Effects cover Tape effect, Compressor, Wah pedal, Chorus, Overdrive, Phaser, Rotator, Convolution Reverb (19 different reverb), and Tape Delay.
Using EPIA is easy. First, load it into Kontakt. You can choose different outputs - direct for a clean sound or through the virtual amplifier with cabinets for more character. The synthetic layer adds an extra dimension to your sound, and it reacts to how hard you play on the keys. For effects, you can control the Wah pedal with the modulation wheel. When using, make sure your computer meets the Kontakt requirements. To maintain it, keep your Kontakt software updated. Avoid using it in a very humid or dusty environment to ensure long - term performance.
