Product Detail

Shudder offers 501 distinctively mangled, deep, and nightmarish percussive samples, along with essential FX, stingers, risers, and drones. Ideal for horror soundtracks and dark electronic music, it adds a touch of grunge to any production. It's also great for sound design, especially in ambient and environmental horror. Sound designer Spencer Nunamaker of Juno VHS crafted each sound with amazing detail. With 8 categories of hits, stingers, and risers, and 3 categories of dark ambiences, this library is a must - have for your creative work. Suitable for various modern music styles like Trap, EDM, and hip hop, as well as sci - fi sound design and game/app UI SFX. You can browse all Juno VHS libraries and get a great discount on the bundle. It's 1.83 GB installed, has 501 samples, 24 Kontakt 5.5.2 .nki preset banks, and 24 - bit/48kHz uncompressed stereo PCM wav audio. The unlocked wav samples can be imported into most wav - compatible plugins or DAWs. The library features flexible controls and a full DSP effects rack. It's designed for Native Instruments Kontakt 5.5 or later, with limited support on the free Kontakt Player.

Using Shudder is a breeze. First, make sure you have the full retail version of Native Instruments Kontakt 5.5.2 or later installed on your Windows 7 or higher, or Mac OSX 10.8 or higher system. It's best to have a dual - core CPU or better and at least 2GB of RAM. A SATA or SSD hard drive is recommended. When you start using it, you can easily import the unlocked wav samples into almost any wav - compatible plugin or DAW. In Kontakt, use the standard File browser tab to import the library into the Quickload window. The library comes with flexible control features. You can adjust attack, release, and other settings to shape the sound as you like. The arpeggiator and step - sequencer are really cool. Just turn on the arpeggiator, tweak the sequencer dialog, and press some keys to get surprising results. The convolution reverb has tons of different spaces to explore. Keep in mind that the free Kontakt 'Player' has limited support and runs it in 'demo mode'. And since it's a digital download, you need a broadband connection. There's not much maintenance needed, but make sure your system is up - to - date to ensure smooth operation.
