Paper Stone Instruments PSI Vibraphone

The 1960s 3 - octave Premier 751 Vibraphone notes are carefully sampled in our cinematic live room. The PSI Vibraphone is a 1.9Gb virtual instrument with 37 notes, using Native Instruments' lossless .ncw compressed format samples. There are 4 main instruments: Sustain (pedalled) with soft or medium felt beaters, and Staccato (unpedalled) with medium felt or hard (rubber) beaters, all having 3 velocity levels. Additionally, there are 3 bonus instruments: muted (hand - muted unpedalled), Soft beater Vibrato, and medium beater Vibrato with the original 1960s tremolo effect. All 7 instruments are sampled with 3 pairs of stereo mics: Center (close), Stereo (wide), and Room (distant).

Using the PSI Vibraphone is easy. First, select the instrument you like from the 4 main ones or 3 bonus ones. For different playing styles, you can choose different beaters and whether to use the pedal. The 3 velocity levels allow you to control the volume and intensity of the sound. When it comes to the mics, you can switch between Center, Stereo, and Room to get different sound effects. As for maintenance, keep your device clean and updated to ensure the best performance.
