Teamed up with acclaimed sound practitioner René Jenkins, we present a wonderful collection of Central American drone flutes. René performed with six of his favorite 2, 3, and 4 - chambered flutes at St Paul's Church in San Francisco. We recorded a wide variety of chromatic articulations and improvised phrases in great detail. This library is ideal for cinematic compositions, game scoring, atmospheric songwriting, folk music, and creative sound design. It includes unique flutes like the Double Wooden F#4 Drone Flute, Double Zapotec A4 Clay Flute, Harmony C4 Flute, Quad Clay Flute, Triple Snake Flute, and Triple Zapotec Clay Flute. René played over 3,000 distinct melodic elements organized by flute type, tempo, musical key, and style. You can trigger them with your keyboard or sequence them in the phrase sequencer. The sounds are captured from three microphone positions with different characteristics. The Kontakt interface has automation - ready sound - shaping controls, 20 custom FX presets, an adaptable LFO system, customizable filters, an arpeggiator, a key and scale lock system, and a modular FX rack panel with 18 DSP effect modules. The reverb effect includes 99 different room impulses and 40 custom FX impulses. It's designed for Native Instruments Kontakt 5.5 or later, and though the free Kontakt Player has limited support, you can use the sample directories in other wav - compatible software.
To use these Soundiron Drone Flutes, first make sure you have Native Instruments Kontakt 5.5 or later installed. Load the library into Kontakt using the standard File browser tab and import it into the Quickload window. You can choose from different flutes like the Double Wooden F#4 Drone Flute or the Double Zapotec A4 Clay Flute. Experiment with the various articulations and mic positions to create your own unique sound. Trigger the live performance phrases with your keyboard or use the phrase sequencer for more control.
