The PVC Beatbox Ensemble is a unique creation. We combined a vocal ensemble and used long, hand - crafted PVC pipe 'trumpets' to generate a wide range of sounds like drones, dirges, booms, horn blasts, and drum - like percussion. Recorded in a large glass and tile hall with great natural reverberation, we built complex pipe structures and beatboxed through them. The result can best be described as STEAM DRUMS. Originally part of the Tonehammer Microhammer series, it's a classic experimental work. We've upgraded it with advanced programming and a new special FX patch. It has up to 10X round robin and 1 - 3 velocity layers, featuring 9 articulations including kick, snare, and more. The library includes tuned, untuned, and 'Insanity Phone' contents. It's designed for Native Instruments Kontakt 3.5 or later. With 54.3 MB installed, 144 samples, 3 .nki presets, and 24 bit / 44.1kHz uncompressed PCM wav samples, it offers unlocked presets and samples for customization.

Using this PVC Beatbox Ensemble is easy. First, make sure you have Native Instruments Kontakt Full 3.5 or later installed on your Mac (MacOS 10.6 Snow Leopard and above) or Windows (Windows XP and above) system with a Dual - Core CPU or better, at least 1GB of RAM, and preferably SATA or SSD storage. Once installed, you can use the standard File browser tab in Kontakt to import the library into the Quickload window. You can explore the 9 articulations like kick, snare, etc., and shape the sounds using the various sound - shaping parameter controls. Note that the free Kontakt Player only runs it in a limited 'demo mode'. When it comes to maintenance, keep your Kontakt software updated to ensure compatibility. Since the sample directories are unlocked, you can use the samples in other wav - compatible software, but be careful when doing so to avoid any data loss.
