Product Detail

Rhythmic Origins is an all - encompassing multi - sampled library featuring UK percussionist David Oliver's rare and ethnic concert drums and hand percussion from across the globe. Recorded in top - notch studios in England, it captures 73 diverse percussion instruments, offering various articulations. You can customize your sound with different microphone positions. Each sample has been precisely engineered for rich tonality. This library is not only a great stand - alone collection but also a perfect companion to David Oliver's Rhythmic Odyssey. The Kontakt interface comes with a wide range of automation - ready sound - shaping controls, an adaptable LFO system, customizable arpeggiator, key and scale lock system, and a modular FX rack with 27 DSP effect modules. It's designed for Native Instruments Kontakt 6.5.3 or later, with 11 powerful presets, 77,156 stereo samples in unlocked .WAV format, and a 30.4 GB installation size.

Using this percussion library is a breeze. First, make sure you have Native Instruments Kontakt 6.5.3 or later installed. Once you import the library into Kontakt, you can start exploring the different percussion instruments. Use the sound - shaping controls on the Kontakt interface to customize your sound. You can adjust things like swell, attack, and release to get the perfect rhythm. For the microphone positions, experiment with close and room mics to find the sound that suits your needs. When using the arpeggiator, play around with the velocity table and direction settings. As for the FX rack, try different combinations of the 27 DSP effect modules to add unique touches to your music. Remember, the free Kontakt Player only supports it in a limited 'demo mode', so it's best to use the full retail version. Keep your software updated to ensure smooth performance. Also, since it has a 30.4 GB installation size, make sure you have enough storage space on your device. There's no special maintenance needed for the library, but always back up your important projects to avoid data loss.
