Product Detail

Discover the Soundtoys Tremolator, an amazing tool that brings analog guitar tremolo effects and more with beat-synced rhythmic chopping. It mimics the tremolo sounds of classic hardware like the old Fender Vibrolux guitar amp and the Wurlitzer electric piano. Soundtoys added dynamic speed and depth control, making the tremolo respond to your music. With MIDI sync, you can lock the tremolo to the tempo. The programmable Rhythm Editor lets you create custom patterns, turning it into a wild rhythmic auto-gate. It's both a vintage guitar effect and a modern remix tool. Soundtoys analyzed waveforms of favorite old hardware and used a custom LFO waveshape editor in Tremolator to recreate them. Passing through the Analog mode emulates going in and out of analog hardware for a great tremolo sound. Switch to a sharp squarewave, and it becomes a powerful auto-gate. You can lock it to MIDI, select note values, or use the Rhythm Editor to create your own grooves. The Tweak menu offers Dynamics controls, allowing your playing to control modulation speed and depth. There are also great presets in the Dynamics folder. Features include unmatched auto-gate rhythmic control, MIDI tempo and beat-synced tremolo, and dynamic controls for real-time musical and emotional expression.

Using the Soundtoys Tremolator is a breeze. First, if you want that classic tremolo sound, just let it emulate the old hardware like the Fender Vibrolux or the Wurlitzer. You can adjust the speed and depth in the Dynamics controls in the Tweak menu. Play louder or softer, and watch how it creates cool speed changes. To lock the tremolo to the tempo, turn on the MIDI sync. When you want to use it as an auto - gate, switch to the sharp squarewave. You can select different note values like 1/8th or 16th notes easily. If you need a custom rhythm, use the Rhythm Editor. You can even pull grooves from the library. Add some swing, accents, and use the Waveshape Editor to adjust the gate time. As for maintenance, keep it in a dry and cool place. Don't expose it to extreme temperatures or humidity. Make sure your computer's software is up - to - date to avoid any compatibility issues. Also, regularly check for any software updates from Soundtoys to get the best performance.
