Product Detail

The Radial SB-1 StageBug is an amazing active direct box designed for acoustic guitars. It's ultra-compact, easily fitting into your guitar case, and offers a plug-and-play setup for hassle-free use. Powered by 48V phantom power, you won't need any batteries! This high-performance DI box is perfect for on-the-go musicians. Despite its small size, it delivers a terrific sound. It has a standard ¼' instrument input with a thru-put for your tuner or on-stage amp. The quiet active circuit converts the signal from high to low impedance, reducing noise and balancing the signal for long runs to the PA. With a 220k-ohm input impedance, it provides a smooth, warm sound and eliminates loading issues, great for vintage guitars. The -15dB pad handles loud instruments well, making it suitable for electric bass and keyboards too. The 180° polarity switch helps reduce feedback on stage. Small size, big heart, huge sound!

Using the Radial SB-1 StageBug is a breeze. First, plug your acoustic guitar, electric bass, or keyboard into the ¼' instrument input. You can connect your tuner or on - stage amp to the thru - put. Then, connect it to your PA system. Since it's 48V phantom powered, just make sure your mixer can provide that power. You're all set to go! When using vintage guitars with low - output pickups, you'll notice a smooth and warm sound. If your instrument is very loud, use the - 15dB pad to reduce the input sensitivity. To cut down on feedback, try toggling the 180° polarity switch. As for maintenance, keep it dry and avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures. Clean it gently with a soft cloth. Don't forget to check the connections regularly to ensure a good signal.
