Product Detail

The Radial StageBug SB - 2 Passive is a top - notch direct box designed for musicians on the move. It's super compact and can easily fit inside a guitar case. Despite its small size, it's full of features for excellent stage performance. The design starts with a ¼' input and thru - put for the on - stage amp. It's connected to a custom Eclipse ET - DB3 transformer for impedance matching and signal balancing. For high - output instruments, a - 15dB pad can be added to prevent input overload. The innovative stereo - to - mono merge function makes it easy to connect stereo keyboards and computers. The XLR output follows the AES standard. Once connected, it produces a smooth, warm sound like vintage gear. The transformer handles extreme signals with natural compression and helps eliminate hum and buzz. There's also a ground lift switch for quiet, professional results. Ideal for electric bass, acoustic guitar, and keyboards, it offers easy plug - and - play operation and transformer isolation to reduce noise.

Using the Radial StageBug SB - 2 is a breeze. First, connect your instrument to the ¼' input. If you're using an on - stage amp, use the thru - put to send the signal to it. For high - output instruments like active basses or digital pianos, you can insert the - 15dB pad to avoid overloading the input. When connecting stereo keyboards or computers, use the stereo - to - mono merge function instead of resetting the source for mono. The XLR output can be connected to your PA system. Remember, if you notice any hum or buzz, try using the ground lift switch. For maintenance, keep it in a dry place and avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures. Wipe it with a soft, dry cloth regularly to keep it clean. And always unplug it when not in use to protect it from electrical surges.
