Product Detail

This is an official Jensen IR library based on the P12Q AlNiCo speaker from the Vintage series. We systematically captured the Jensen Vintage Alnico P12Q in two different enclosures, resulting in 1216 IRs: a 1x12' Open Back cabinet and a 2x12' Open Back cabinet. Developed with a Jensen Speakers product specialist, it recreates an authentic playing experience. The P12Q, a lower - power sibling of the P12N, has a smaller voice coil and a vintage'sausage' basket. It has a warm, balanced sound with a nice bite in the upper midrange, suitable for various music styles like country, jazz, rock, and blues, often found in classic amps. The library also includes a remastered version of all IRs. Vintage Jensen speakers were for clean tones, but the remastered option makes them better for high - gain contemporary music. It's made for TH - U Supercabinet, allowing you to graphically browse, blend IRs, create new cabinet tones, use them in software, and export in.wav. We used 18 types of microphones during capture, with each microphone in 16 different positions for each cabinet. All IRs are phase - aligned for seamless blending.

Using this Overloud SuperCabinet Library is easy. First, make sure you have the TH - U Supercabinet software installed. Then, import the library into the software. You can graphically browse through the IRs to find the sound you like. If you want to create a unique tone, use the Multiband mode to blend different IRs. When you're happy with your tone, you can use it right in the software or export the IRs in.wav format for use in other software loaders or major hardware modelers. As for maintenance, keep your software updated to ensure compatibility with the library. Also, store your library files in a safe place and make regular backups. If you have any issues, refer to the software's official support resources. Have fun exploring all the great sounds this library has to offer!
