The official Jensen IR library features the C12K2 ceramic speaker from the Vintage series. It systematically captures the Jensen Vintage Ceramic C12K2 in three different enclosures, yielding 912 IRs: a 2x12' Open Back Cabinet, a 2x12' Closed Back Cabinet, and a 4x12' Closed Back Cabinet. Developed with a Jensen Speakers expert, it recreates an authentic playing experience. The C12K2 is an upgrade from the C12K, with a different cone membrane for extended treble, more detailed tones, and a smooth sound. It works great with clean, mid - gain, and high - gain tones. Overloud captured it using 19 microphones in 16 positions. This library is made for TH - U Supercabinet, allowing you to graphically browse, blend IRs, create new cabinet tones, use IRs in software, and export them in .wav format. The capturing session used 18 types of microphones, each with 16 IRs due to different positions, distances, and angles. All IRs are phase - aligned for seamless blending.
To use this library, first, open the TH - U Supercabinet software. In the software, you can graphically browse through the IRs in the library. If you want to create a unique sound, blend different IRs together or use the Multiband mode to craft new cabinet tones. You can also directly use the IRs in the software or export them in .wav format for use with other software IR loaders and major hardware modelers. When using the library, make sure your software is up - to - date to avoid any compatibility issues. To maintain the library, keep your computer's storage clean and organized.
